I stumbled across
a leprechaun lair
today;

it was deserted
with no signs
of green.

I suppose the
economic crisis
has struck the
magically adept;

some kind of
luck of the irish
recession.

Til I remember
there's a parade today
with pub crawls
into the wee early morn.

Lots of kissing
and pinching
and toasting
and boasting.

Quite the stimulus
package.

I can see
a black pot
in the corner
slowly start to fill
with gold.

Who cares if
Punxsutawney Phil
saw his shadow?

The sun is shining
with record high
temperatures.

I predict this
horrible winter
is over.
