an intervention ferried by your light
deep in my dreams kissed on a tree that wilts
the leaves were ripe again, revived, the sight
had brought my tears to stream then stole my guilt
you touched its root then bore and sowed your seed
as if to say 'oh, come and see again...
the very essence of the strength you need'
then took my breath and soon my every pain
i felt that callous veil of darker days
begin to lift then i was reassured
and learned that stewing in my weary ways
could cost me more than i've ever endured
if my immortal soul turned to debris
before you saved that tree, would i still see?

Do not follow…lead
It is the only way to succeed
Do not walk the path
But, be the path
Truth be told
Truth be told
Judge me not by my words
Because afterwards
You will see in an instant
All of my commitment
Truth be told
Truth be told
Bust my mind
Show me your kind
Not him, not her
I wish to see neither
Truth be told
Truth be told

There are schemes and seams
You must find a means
To cut and slice
Make your own sacrifice
Truth be told
Truth be told

Your pain makes me feel sad
I hate when you are down
I hate to see you frown
I try to connect to you
Just to understand what you're feeling
I put our minds together
Just to understand your thoughts
Just to see what you
Are thinking
From there I will
Figure out what can be done
I’ll hold your hand to let
You see that I’m there for you
I promise you
That I love you
That’s why I’m here
To get through this with you
Trust me I have you
I'm close to your heart
I share your feelings with you
So your pain is not felt alone
Even the person that caused your pain
Has now and finally passed on
