Take but what you need, take my heart
Into where it is your dreams take you
My love for you there shall undoubtedly part
With your soul as life through and through
No more will the days and nights haunt there
As loneliness, nay I say to this
Two souls meant forever for each other share
With each other a reason to exist
So take this weary heart into wherever
You may desire it to will you so
My life to you I swear however
You wished for it to take you years ago
Remember how when our blesséd aim
Faltered and yet we did survive
I wanted so much to bow in shame
My head and yet you did revive
What intent we set off unto this road
My sweet one, you are my rock for days
On end, my angel heaven bestowed
The only one whom I'll always praise
If all the moments we spend apart
Mean nothing to you, then why return
I wish for you to take my heart
With you to wherever your dreams do yearn
