I am a silent warrior.
I sit at my desk and fight.
I will not join the army
but I battle through the night.
I am a lover of the right.
My pen reflects the sun
when I hold it in the sky
and it destroys the gun.
I am a silent warrior.
I make no sound but falling tears.
They stain my paper and bleed my ink
and testify to my fears.
I am the smallest presence.
There is not much I can do,
but maybe we can get somewhere
if you will join in, too.
