Hold me in fingers of your thoughts
hide me in silence of your words
make me sleep in bosom of your dreams
caress me with warmth of your smile

Who wants to wake up
when sleep has so much to offer
it rhythms me back to life
in world of my words
few words...few pauses ..
and depth of silence

Daily Quote: Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.
- C.S. Lewis

Linguist Corner-SPANISH: cuenta, noun / to realize; to notice
Example:
- Me di cuenta de que era inútil seguir.
I realized there was no point in going on.

(Apart from using cuenta to mean bill, use it with the reflexive form of dar in the phrase 'darse cuenta' when you realize something is the case. Notice how it’s followed by de and que.)

Caring and loving from deep within,
Always there through thick and thin.
Encouraging you to be yourself,
Knows you better than anyone else.

..

No need for you to be on guard,
Here you will never be barred.
No matter how long it has been,
Greeted as if always seen.

..

In your youth it's easy to forget,
Don't do things you may regret.
Both love and hate are at times blind,
Being around family clears your mind.

..

Preventing you from many a vice,
Counsel they give may not be nice.
Advice given is always good,
May take awhile to be understood.

..

No matter what you do or say,
Supporting you always every day.
Don't ever take them for granted,
Their opinion will not be slanted.

..

Love like this you will only find,
When you have a family you call mine.
Time with them is always well spent,
Respect and love are ever present.

..

Joyous memories being debated,
As new ones are being created.
Reminiscing about the past,
Wishing it would forever last.

..

Just remember and never forget,
Unconditional love is what you get.
Always there through thick and thin,
Caring and loving from deep within.

..

The Sea rages ceaselessly amidst unmoving rocks
Hurling Herself restlessly, longing to escape,
Hoping to embrace both the earth and the sky
Demanding life outside Her own, she begins to sigh.

And Her yards of white lace swirl around Her
On layers of rich, azure silk.
Profoundly blue, always ever changing
As eternal as the universe, now ebbing, now flowing.

Yet the music of the Sea is serenely noble
And sings tales of many brave heroes,
With ringing tones so melancholy sweet
While the sand dances at Her nimble feet.

"Be glad for each day, do not despair the past
You have many chances to repair what has been lost,
As you sing to My music and dance to My song
Come celebrate life's splendor all day long!"

"We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch - we are going back from whence we came."
-John F. Kennedy

When we go on holiday
we like to see a bright sun above,
but there are occasions when
we are treated to liquid sunshine and powdered rain.

Sometimes the seasons get mixed up
and summer comes late
and other times winter calls
in the middle of the year.

There are even times when
each season will visit us each day.
However when you are on holiday
you enjoy it without a care.

Early in the morning you get powdered rain
and by mid morning the liquid sunshine calls.
Before the evening falls
you feel the warm rays of the sun.

No one can predict the weather,
we have to take it as it comes.
When you go on holiday
just go out and have some fun.

David Harris

Daily Quote: Good manners can replace morals. It may be years before anyone knows if what you are doing is right. But if what you are doing is nice, it will be immediately evident.
P.J. O'Rourke

Linguist Corner-ITALIAN: fedele: faithful / adjective
Example:
- Sono sposata da 30 anni e sono sempre stata fedele a mio marito.
Translation: I have been married for 30 years and I have always been faithful to my husband.
