I Don’t Even Feel the Same on the Inside…
I’ve Swallowed My Pride…Denied…and Really Really Tried…
Maybe…. a Tad Bit Too Much….
For Something or Someone Way Out of Touch….
So Close but Still So Far….
Maybe…. I Let it Get Too Far….
How Could Something Seem So Right???
But in the End be Mistaken…
My Only Question is Why Did it Take ME this Great Length of Time???
To finally See Things for What They Really Are….
Maybe… I Made it This Way…
With Intents that Reality Would Actually Delay….
The Truth and Fact that I am Not First Pick…
Just Here as a Second Choice….
To be a Comparison and Officially Just a Test…
It has Come the Time for ME to Take a Well-Deserved Time Out…
Forsaken, Mislead, and Full of Doubt…
To Feel Numb to It All with No Incoming Sense or Sign of Remorse
I am Attempting to Cope…
While Avoiding My Feelings and Thoughts of False Hope….
It is This False Hope …that Help ME Get to This Very Place…
Looking Around Desiring a New Direction to Turn and Face…
Knowing that My Emotions are Hidden in My Reflection…
Second Chances Can’t Always Be Given...Yet....
Faith is Hoping and Not Knowing …
with that Said ....I Know I am Still Learning and Not Done Living or Growing…

Crawl into the light.
Open up your newborn eyes.
Grow into a life.
Experience life.
Learn from your environment.
Grow up over time.
Increase your burden.
New drama surrounds your life.
Grow through your troubles.
Be responsible.
Your life is altered by choice.
Grow through college life.
Live out all your dreams.
Define your life’s real purpose.
Grow through your choices.
Older, settled down.
Reflect on how life has been.
Grow into wisdom.
Retired and relaxed.
Realize your mortality.
Grow into new life.

A sweet peal of laughter rings through the sky,
A petal of sorts, falling from high,
A questionable green seems to imply,
Only what one could not wish to deny.
An unspoken word sets her apart,
The unspoken word, like a lost art,
The unspoken word, spoken straight from the heart,
Is spoken with only love to impart.
A darling June seeks its way,
It loves, it lives, a strong display,
Of how to not lead fate away,
From Queens and Kings in summers day.
Haunting feelings leave no regret,
Shadows of sun wake in silhouette.
Queens and Kings dance slowly yet fair,
Like peals of laughter and petals in air.
Max Yarus
Love is missing someone whenever you're apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you're close in heart.

starts with a fire
explosion in air
people die
can't be found
rig collapse
into the deep
a mile or more
bubbling crude
rising to surface
slow death
fish birds jobs
shut off none
months to recover
food gone
save what we can
earth be damned
all about
the money
drill
baby
drill
sounds hollow
now
doesn't it
oil
and
water
don't
mix

If we take the generally accepted definition of bravery as a quality which knows no fear, I have never seen a brave man. All men are frightened. The more intelligent they are, the more they are frightened.

Early summer again
when beauty is born,
birds are in love
and the lark sings at dawn.
Skies are in fashion
dressed in blue satin
instead of the grey
of a February day.
Once more I wander
in a beautiful garden
amid pretty rosebuds
of delicate pink...
and flowers of Holland
those tulips in bloom
are waving goodbye to
the breezes of spring.
I silently offer
a fervent prayer
as fragrance of heaven
touches my heart;
there is no place on earth
like a beautiful garden...
each individual aspect
is God's work of art.
Joyce Helmsley
There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep up behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling.

my eyes were not born
until the sight of you
my soul did not exist
until the presence of you
oh you, you charming being
my heart flutters
and bursts into purple and gold flames
i'm overcome wtih a sweet and rare emotion
my heart, oh my heart
all i ask is for you to never forget me
and if i write you poems
of forbidden emotions
read them
read them gently with your soul.
and if i go away.
never forget me.
for i will never forget you
your grapefruit colored lips
your iris colored skin.
woman, if i ever disappear
even for a moment,
even for a day, promise to never forget me
for i will never forget you
i shall never forget any part of you.

Strut your stuff girl!
Don’t be the fool
And sell out
To the first romance;
Hide it all away
Like a fine wine
In the cellar
That waits
To breathe.
Open up to LIFE!
It’s a stage;
And all its lights
Shine for you.
Find your groove,
Live the life you choose;
Write your own story
And
Dance baby,
Dance!

Mirror on the wall
why are you taking
up her time?
You got her in the mirror,
putting make-up on her mind,
Putting on that make-up
only wastes precious time
Cause it's not about her face,
It's more about what's in her mind,
But our sad shallow world,
has her working overtime,
30 minutes 'til an hour,
so she can try to find perfection,
But only if she knew,
there's little need for correction,
And it's sadder
that beauty companies
are rich because of this,
Girls with low self esteem
spending millions to achieve,
To achieve a look
that they already possess,
But it's society's fault
that there's so much stress,
Cause it makes them think
that they need make-up to
believe,
but the truth is
It's only used to deceive,
cause it's a temporary fix,
inside they will still bleed,
The world can be
so superficial at times,
That's the main reason
they're trying to make
us all blind,
By making us think
that beauty
is all that really matters,
But it's the true confidence inside,
Which make-up only shatters,
Putting make-up on,
only makes you like the other,
Without the make-up on,
you will stand out like a star,
So don't worry girl
you're beautiful just the way you are,
And you should not care
what those shallow people think,
Cause if you try
to impress them,
then you're missing out
on the deep,
you're already beautiful,
smart, and complete,
but without make-up on,
you can say that
you're unique

Smile and I am happy
Cry and I do too
It is kind of special
The way I feel for you
…
Life can be a rocky ride
No laughter is within
For unless you are laughing too
The day is rather grim!
The sound of your sweet laughter
Reflections of your smile
Brings a healing peace
If only for a while!
Love is like a tonic
Heal of you it will
Like a dose of medicine
Great need of it you still
…
Caught up in the moment
A timeless joy of me
If doubt lived for a second
banished now is He...
The great divine of love
is really quite unique
…
Forever will it live
Tis our destiny

Perception-do you see me?
I don't think you do
It's so easy to fake through everything that you think I want to do
Rationalization-does it make sense?
No it doesn't
You're supposed to be my mother
The one who knows me best
But I guess when it comes down to it
You'll never pass the test
Deception-why did you do it?
Why do you do it?
Why do you mix the truth within the coven of your easily-broken lies?
Don't you realize already?
I can see through your state of mind
