A Walk With God


I decided to try and put God's hand in mine
and do my best - to follow His way

There's times when we all need guidance and inspiration
So I decided to do my best - to pray to Him everyday

We've been told that if we keep the faith and totally
believe in all the power - He has within Him

There is nothing in our lives we can't achieve
If we follow in His footsteps - try not to sin

So one day , me and Him had a very long talk
He told me to let Him guide us - we'll never be alone

Because He'll always be beside us while we walk
And He gave us a picture of His Son Jesus - for our home

So once a day I think about this long talk, say a prayer
While I look at the beautiful picture - of His Son

I thank God , for being beside me while I walk, and Jesus
Because of what - He sacrificed for everyone.
