Sands of time sifting through my fingers, longing to hold him once again, kneeling down heart heavy, with a pull and a shove from father time, I must make the climb, to the sunshine, keeping on the grind, never to let up, with much ado about pain, there is nothing to gain, with a sad grin, and a heavy step, I take the leap that I too will heal. Upwards turn of my face to the sun, gently I caress my gun, thoughts and thinking, I lay it down so very close to the ground, turn away, and march on, determined I will succeed, I will not partake of weakness, moving along, face turned to the sun, permanent chill down to the bones, I turn and face the grave, kneeling down I shed my tears words don’t matter he can’t hear me, but he should know my thoughts, Beloved for ever through life and death I am yours. Tears drop and splash upon the grave, watering a seed, unknown to me, the cycle of life continues, and I shall meet up with my soul mate once again. With a cracked heart and a legion to reign, I forge forth into the Sun..

"Death is no more than passing from one room into another. But there's a difference for me, you know. Because in that other room I shall be able to see."
~Helen Keller
